During busy periods it is important that you take time for yourself so that you can stay relaxed, focused and perform at your best. The information below explores some of the activities you can get involved in over the coming weeks to help you unwind, find support and advice as well as look after your wellbeing.
Academic Skills Hub exam workshops
Throughout the year, the Library & Learning Services team and IT Learning Centre run a variety of workshops to develop your skills in areas you may feel weakest in; these include topics such as getting the most out of lectures, time management, Excel, understanding assignment briefs, critical thinking, academic writing and more.
Sign up for a dedicated workshop looking at revision strategies and preparation for exams to help you feel ready for any upcoming assessments. Sessions are available in person and online:

Weekly drop-in sessions in halls of residence.
All Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó students can meet with the Student Services Team in Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó halls in May. StaffÌýwill be on hand to answer your questions, share tips for studying for exams or give advice on preparing for assignment deadlines. As well as advice and support, there will be games to play with prizes and goodie bags to be won.

All students are welcome to drop in. If you are not currently living in Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó halls of residence, you’ll be able to enter the building by showing your Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó Student ID card at the reception desk.

Library space and snacks
Both theÌýSir Michael Cobham Library at Talbot CampusÌýand theÌýWeston Library at Lansdowne CampusÌýare open 24 hours a day for you to study and workÌýin a quiet space. Please remember to bring your student ID card to access the space when required - you can check this on theÌýÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó website.
Between Tuesday 7 May and Friday 24 May snacks will beÌýavailable on a first come, first services basis to those using the space to provide your brain a boost whilst you work.
Free breakfast, lunch and dinner withÌýSUÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó Advice
To help you perform at your best, your Students' Union at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó (SUÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó) are providing free breakfast five days a week during the exam season. Breakfast will be available on a first come, first served basis from the Community Kitchen in the Student Centre, Talbot Campus as well as in BGB301 at Bournemouth Gateway Building, Lansdowne Campus.
Further support for lunch and dinner is available to those that require it on a first come, first served basis. To find out more about the additional support available to you at this time, please visit between 10am and 4pm.
