Did you know we have a fantastic team here at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó to help support any student who has a disability, specific learning difference, mental health condition, medical condition or injury?Â
They can help with a number of things, from making reasonable adjustments for exams – which might include extra time in exams to lecture slides being shared in advance – to advising on how to access diagnostic assessments. They also offer information, advice and guidance for disability-related concerns and can help with your applications for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA). DSA can fund specialist equipment, software and one-to-one sessions, which can support your learning. To see all the ways ALS can support you, please head to the website.  Â
Crucially, if you require any support, you’ll need to . Once they’ve received your information, someone from the ALS team will be in touch find out in more detail how they can best support you during your time at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó. You can register with them at any time of the year, but the earlier you do this, the sooner we can start exploring what support can be offered for your course.  Â
And you can always pop in to talk to someone in ALS from Monday to Friday on the ground floor of The Sir Michael Cobham Library on Talbot Campus (room DLG17)). You can also call them on 01202 965663 or email [email protected].Ìý
