Do you use WebDAV to access your Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó files on the H or P drive when off-campus? Â
As part of our continuing work to improve our information and cyber security from Friday 1 December we will be removing remote access to WebDAV ().  This means you will no longer be able to use the WebDAV service from home on your personal device to access Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó files off-campus. The service will still be available on campus.Â
Do I need to do anything? Â
If you have connected to this service on your personal computer, you may start to get error messages when this change is made. You can safely ignore these messages and/or remove the connection.
What is the alternative? Â
We would recommend using the virtual desktop instead. You can find details about on . Â
You also have the option to use to store the files currently held in your H drive – this will make them accessible everywhere. Â
What will happen next? Â
We would suggest you start using to access your Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó files immediately to ensure you are familiar with the new method prior to the removal of WebDAV.  Â
