Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó has risen to 41st in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2023.
The rankings list the world’s best universities that are 50 years old or younger. Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó has risen from 62nd in the 2022 rankings. Universities are measured using five indicators; teaching, research volume, research citations, international outlook, and industry income, with the full outlined on the THE website.
The rise places Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó first in the UK for those universities measured by the league table.Â
The accolade follows league table rises for Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó in both the Complete University Guide, where Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó ranks 55th in the UK, and the THE Impact Rankings 2023, where Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó sits at 29th worldwide out of 1,591 universities measured. The Impact Rankings measure universities against the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) with Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó found to be first in the UK for SDG8 Decent Work and Economic Growth.
