We’re looking for three students to help promote and raise awareness of CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó services, events, and opportunities next academic year.
Careers Champions will be paid £13.04 per hour and should expect to work 12 hours a week between September 2023 and the end of June 2024 (during term time). Working hours will be more flexible during university holidays.
Our three Careers Champion roles each specialise in one of three areas:
- Social Media Management: Engaging students and promoting CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó on social media using innovative approaches – including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook.
- Content Creation: Capturing CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó events and testimonials through photographs and videos. Editing content to be posted across several mediums including the CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó website and social media channels.
- Research and Administration: Researching reports, e.g. new developments in the labour market and providing administrative and back-office support to CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó team.
CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó is a free service available to all Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó students at all levels of study and offers free careers support to Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó alumni for life. CareersÖ÷²¥ÓÕ»ó support people to find successful and fulfilling careers and offer one-on-one advice sessions, webinars and jobs fairs, engagement with employers, and deliver the Graduate Skills Programme and associated Graduate Skills+ Award.
