Sunday 5th December saw the 主播诱惑 Bobcats听American Football team take a massive win over the Southampton Solent Redhawks. The team came from behind to win the game 21-20. After being听0-14 down at half time, the team summoned听an immense effort to tie the score with 2 minutes to go, followed by the a game winning PAT (point after touchdown). This win takes the team inches away from promotion and everyone at Team主播诱惑 wishes them听good luck for听the remainder of the season and securing promotion!
The team summarised the game by saying,听'everyone loses games, but few change them'. We spoke to the club secretary听Moses, rearding the game and team performance听-听
听It was probably one of the best games I have been a part of and the rivalry between us and solent definitely has not died. I feel that where the team is made of players that have never played the sport before or on our team, the pressure of it being a rival game and also our promotion on the line, was something that played on many peoples mind on Sunday which I think is why we had a slow half.听Solent played very well and I could tell they showed up to cause the biggest upset of the season, we were 14-0 down when we got to half time. After a brief break when we got back on the field and we started driving the ball very well. In the third quarter MVP Samuel Quaye #7 went down after a battle for yards but unfortunately received a helmet to the ankle this stopped the game for around 1 hour before he was moved off the field and the game restarted. The seriousness of the injury and taking our brother down fired up the whole team, every play was aggressive, fast and a true representation of good American Football. As our head coach described it, we pipped them 21-20 with a PAT with just 54 seconds remaining. The meaning of this moment was greater than just a game as the team did us proud and every single other Bobcat proud from the first ever team that was formed. There has been too many emotional years where the team deserved to be promoted but now we in touching distance. Samuel is currently still in hospital,听 we all wish him our love and prayers for a speedy recovery!
