Whether you’ve returned to Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó to continue your studies or have just started with us, we hope you are settling into campus life. There is lots of information on the website to help you find your way to and around the buildings, as well as see the various options for food and drink at both campuses. There are still lots of taking place, from nights out to the sustainability challenge and of course, there are all the to check out too.
We’re really excited to have the Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó community back together again and we want to keep campus open for everyone. We’re working hard to keep everyone safe on our campuses, which includes one-way systems and ensuring the circulation of air through the buildings. We also need you to do your bit to support your fellow students and the staff. There are a few easy things you can do, such as testing yourself at home twice a week to make sure you don’t unknowingly have Covid-19 and washing your hands or using sanitiser regularly. Most importantly, you need to wear a face covering when indoors on campus, even in lectures and teaching sessions. There is about the impact this has on reducing transmission of the virus and, while there is no current legal requirement, the Government recommends that people continue to wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with others who you don’t normally meet. You can about why you need to wear face coverings on campus. Please remember to bring your face mask with you. If you do forget it, look for the boxes of masks at the entrances to buildings, but it is much better for the environment if you have your own mask which you can wash and reuse.
We want to keep campus open and operating as smoothly as possible, and for that we need to look after each other. After all, lecturers, demonstrators and other staff are essential to your teaching sessions taking place in person, so your cooperation in this matter is appreciated. Thank you.
