IT Services is currently reviewing the printing service (provided by Xerox) and the presence of printers across Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó in both student and staff areas. Over the last eight years since the current printers were introduced, there has been a significant reduction in printing across the university - a great step towards achieving our sustainability initiatives. Printing in black and white has declined by 53% and colour printing by 23%, the reduction of which continues in a downward trend.
It’s important for Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó to ensure that we maintain value for money with this service so the current review will look at the number and the location of printers moving forward. Any required changes will be communicated in due course.
