Library and Learning Support continue to offer their services online and have developed new resources to support your study during the lockdown period.
Study Skills Workshops
The Library is running some online workshops aimed at supporting you as you study remotely and undertake new forms of assessment and exams.Ìý
Sessions this and next week include Revision and Exam Preparation, Time Management and the use of EndNote Web.
You can sign up via the  and we will then contact you by email with details of how to join the session online.
These workshops are in addition to the existing online toolkit of resources and recordings available in the , which you can work through at your own pace.Ìý
Online Learning Guide
In collaboration with colleagues across the University, the Library team have created a .ÌýIt includes how to structure study time, guidance on relevant software, tips to improve critical thinking & reflective writing and links to further support you might need during this time.Ìý
E-resources
Due to printed materials being inaccessible, many publishers have now opened access to their e-books and e-journals.ÌýDetails on what resources are now available are listed in our .Ìý
Please note that this is only a temporary arrangement at the publishers' discretion. Where we have been informed of a cut-off date, this has been included in the guide.
These resources are in addition to Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó Library's large collection of e-journals and e-books that are available to you, as Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó students.
Extension to library loans
Library items currently on loan, that were due back on or later than 3 February 2020, have been extended to Wednesday 23 September 2020. The due date will be extended again for all borrowers, if this becomes necessary.
Inter Library Loan requests (i.e.Ìýfor items held in other libraries) cannot be processed at this time, as the British Library and others have suspended all inter-lending services.
