Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó Level 6 Sports Therapy students will be hosting a drop-in clinic in Studland House from Monday 3 February to Monday 30 March as part of their Semester 2 studies.
The clinic, which will be overseen by Paul O’Connell, Sports Therapy Lecturer and Physiotherapist, will provide Sports Therapy students with an opportunity to increase their training hours and develop their assessment skills.
Those attending the clinic can expect to be assessed by a student Sports Therapist. Ideally the students would like people with sports injuries to attend but will, of course, see all of the common conditions like back, neck, knee and shoulder pain. Attendees can expect a 30-minute full clinical assessment, hands on treatment, electrotherapy, taping, exercises plus advice and education. We would like as many people as possible to visit the clinic so the Sports Therapy students can get plenty of practice!
