All students, staff and visitors are asked to take extra care when travelling to and from the university and while on campus during the winter months, with adverse weather continuing to be forecast.
Main building entrances and paths will be gritted and cleared as far as possible. Other known problem areas will be cleared on a prioritised basis, otherwise we will try to keep the university campuses open for business whatever the weather.
In the unlikely event of disruption, please check for travel updates local to your area - often found through local media outlets - before leaving home and always follow local police travel advice. It is recommended that sensible footwear is worn and that staff and students take their own precautions when travelling and on our campuses too.Â
Please note that we will only issue communications if one or both campuses are closed and the university's campuses remain open unless specifically stated otherwise. Arrangements for 91 Preston Road in Yeovil will be communicated separately.Â
We will post updates on , , the , Staff Intranet,  by email to all staff and students. You can also check the Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó Information Line - 01202 968999 - for recorded updates. Please check at least one of these communications before setting off in the event of adverse weather.
