The National Student Survey (NSS) is now open and available for all final year undergraduate students to take part.
The NSS is the only nationwide, online survey for final year students (level 6) studying across all UK universities. It takes about 10 minutes to fill in and if you take part online you'll have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw for the chance to win one of these great prizes*:
- 1 x iPhone 11
- 2 x £200 Flightgift card
- 3 x full Graduation package – including gown hire, professional ‘Graduation’ photography package and an overnight stay for two at a hotel.
- 5 x Fitbit Inspire HR
- 10 x Graduation gown & photography package
- 15 x £100
The NSS is your opportunity as students to be honest about your time and experiences at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó. While you may recognise some of the questions are similar to your mid-unit student evaluations, this is your chance to tell us about your whole time at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó. It allows us to understand what we’re doing right but, just as importantly, what we could be doing better.
There are eight core focus areas of the survey which include your thoughts on learning facilities, feedback and assessments, your student voice and the overall teaching on your course. The feedback is completely anonymous and is vital to help future students choose the best university and course for them.
The NSS closes on 30 April 2020 and as the deadline approaches, Ipsos Mori (the company commissioned by the UK government to organise the survey) will send reminders to you via email or phone if you haven’t done the survey.
You’ll be able to at home or at university and eligible students can access the survey  on Brightspace.
Members of Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó’s Marketing and Communications team (and Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»óD – the Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó Droid) will also be available on campus with iPads for you to take part in the survey and answer any questions you may have from Monday 3 February – Friday 14 February.
