Undergraduate and postgraduate students studying Media Production, TV Production, Film or Multimedia Journalism are now able to book themselves onto the , a free two day course that explores sustainable production within the media industry.
Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó’s Multimedia journalism students will be the first journalism students in the country to be offered this training programme.
The explores the challenges and opportunities of Sustainable Production within the media industries including:
- The science and impact of climate change
- Carbon footprinting and the industry’s negative impact
- Sustainable production solutions
- Creating content with a strategic environmental purpose
Students that complete the course and a short assessment will receive:
- Access to and experience with the industry approach to sustainability
- Skills demanded from new industry entrants
- A BAFTA albert Graduate Certification
- Ongoing updates on key sustainability trends within the industry
The course is free to attend, but spaces are limited and available on a first come first served basis. It will be held in EB306 and EB206 (Executive Business Centre, Lansdowne) on Monday 2 March and Tuesday 3 March 2020.
