The Rail Maritime and Transport (RMT) union has voted in favour of 27 days of strike action between 2 December 2019 and 1 January 2020.
This industrial action is in regards to a long running dispute over guards on the trains. The strikes are expected to affect all South Western Railway routes to and from London Waterloo during this period.

Strikes will not take place on the day of the General Election – 12 December 2019.
