Car parking spaces at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó are severely limited, so parking is restricted to permit holders. Parking permits are only available for Talbot Campus and these are only usually awarded to students with mobility issues or with other extenuating circumstances that meet the eligibility criteria listed on the . There is no student parking available at Lansdowne Campus or any of the halls of residence.
The Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó car parks are managed and enforced on behalf of the university by UK CPM, using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. If an unregistered vehicle enters a Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó car park during enforcement hours (Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm) and stays for 30 minutes or more, the registered owner of the vehicle will be issued with a Parking Charge Notice.
Applying for a student parking permit for Talbot Campus

Talbot Campus pick up drop off zone
The university has a vehicle pick up/drop off zone at Talbot Campus, situated behind the library, which can be used for dropping off or picking up Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó students, staff, and visitors. Drivers will be permitted to park in this zone for up to a maximum of 10 minutes at all times. Drivers of any vehicle parked in this area must switch off the vehicle engine while stationary and remain with the vehicle at all times.
This area is also used as a pre-booked private hire coach/mini bus pick up/drop offs for Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó users.
This facility operates as a one-way system. Drivers therefore need to access the zone by approaching from the Fern Barrow Roundabout direction (see map)
Dropping off or picking up equipment
If you are a non-permit holder and need to access the Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó car parks for the purpose of picking up/dropping off course equipment, please be aware that vehicle parking is limited to 20 minutes for this purpose. The ANPR technology will recognise unregistered vehicles that stay for 30 minutes or more from the time of entering a Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó car park and will issue a Parking Charge Notice. If you anticipate that you will need more than 20 minutes parking time for this purpose, please contact your course leader for advice in advance of bringing your vehicle to campus.
