This recent publication has been prompted by the debate around the funding arrangements and the effectiveness of different countries’ health provision, including the UK’s National Health Service. To achieve this, the authors analyse how effective the USA health care system has been, compared to other Western countries, in reducing premature deaths between the years 1989 to 2015.
Also, currently out for peer review, by the same authors is the article, ‘Child-Abuse-Related-Deaths, Child Mortality (0-4) & Income Inequality in America and Other Developed Nations 1989-91 v 2012-14: Speaking Truth to Power’.
It explores the relationship between income inequality and child mortality in the developed nations. The findings challenge the economic systems where high-income inequality, e.g. in USA and UK, are associated with high child mortality.
Furthermore, there is an ongoing collaborative project entitled, ‘Child Abuse and the Psychiatric Interface: An Effective Intervention Paradigm’.
The collaborators are writing an evidence-informed text that draws together studies published at Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó with authoritative studies from around the globe.
