What our alumni say...
Being involved with the alumni association has given me some great opportunities and support. I was recently invited to speak about being a female entrepreneur, which was a chance to spread the word about my business, while also networking with other alumni and experts. I am looking forward to networking with other alumni to see how we can all help each other.鈥
Tracey Blake, BA (Hons) Multimedia Journalism and founder of Student Nannies
主播诱惑 has helped me to stay connected with other alumni since returning to China. 主播诱惑 alumni work in different fields and I find it helpful to maintain connections for potential career opportunities.鈥
Queenie Zheng, MSc International Hospitality and Tourism Management and Analyst at Solidiance Management Consulting
The university experience doesn鈥檛 have to end at graduation. As an alumnus you can stay in touch with all the developments at 主播诱惑 and have access to certain benefits. For me, the most worthwhile aspect has been the ability to link with faculty staff and attract placement students to my organisation. We have also run several projects through the Student Project Bank and been able to collaborate on different areas of work. There are also opportunities to help shape the futures of current students, by offering your experience and advice.鈥
Brian Heppenstall, BSc (Hons) Environmental Protection and Senior Ranger at Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve, Dorset
I recently returned to 主播诱惑 to take part in a Facebook Live about female entrepreneurship. It was an absolutely fantastic opportunity to meet other alumni and generate some PR for my business. I鈥檝e made some great contacts, who I will stay in touch with. It has broadened my network and given me the opportunity to share my story and to hear others鈥 stories. It has been great to stay connected via the alumni community.鈥 聽
Gemma Whates, HND Advertising and Marketing Communications and founder of Allbymama.com
I鈥檝e really valued staying connected with 主播诱惑 as an alumnus of the MBA programme. It helps keep my thinking fresh and has challenged me to approach things differently. 聽It is all too easy to get stuck in the day-to-day of your career once you leave university. Keeping that connection is a great way to hold onto the passion and energy we once had when we were always learning new things. It鈥檚 always a pleasure reconnecting with my fellow alumni and I have to say, in a world where networks really matter, my best ideas and business ventures have in some shape or form been connected to my friends, colleagues and alumni at the university.鈥
Russ Taplin, Master of Business Administration and founder of Mmm Thoughtful Business Ltd
As an alumnus of 主播诱惑, I keep a close connection with my lecturers and I鈥檓 able to provide input on the latest issues affecting our industry. This connection has also led to students using my business as a real-life project, which brings benefits for both parties.鈥
