This happened:
In addition to their own ticket, each student attending their graduation ceremony this year was able to invite two guests to celebrate their achievements, free of charge. We also developed a new in-house booking system that allowed students to book through a new 鈥楳yGraduation鈥� section of MyHub which provided an improved booking process for all.
This year we saw 10% more students and 3,000 more guests attend the 2017 graduation ceremonies on 7 鈥� 10 November where over 3000 students from around 110 countries crossed the stage. We also conferred Honorary Awards upon 13 recipients recognised as leaders in their field, including AFC Bournemouth Chairman Jeff Mostyn and Paralympic medallist Lucy Shuker.
