International Women's Day, March 8, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó is hosting a number of events to mark this date from week commencing the 6 March 2017.

- HMI Wendy Williams, Experience of being a women in senior leadership

- Village Tales: screening of this award-winning film made by Sue Sudbury, a Ö÷²¥ÓÕ»ó academic and documentary filmmaker
Wednesday 8 March
- Developing Women Leaders
Thursday 9 March
- La Cecchina:Â A recital of songs by a variety of the female composers including Caccini, Chaminade and Schumann. (Admission free)
